Covered the seat mounts with thin insulation, the sort used for under laminated floors (comes on a roll).

Carpet now in place, edge held in place with the black trim

We finally came up with a table design after a lot of trial and error!
Using the original plastic table clips mounted to the back of each chair and the other half to a strip of pine. The table is screwed to the strip and the table leg slots in underneath....need to get a table for the kitchen now that's been pinched!

Upholstery now finished, a few bolster cushions give a finishing touch (something for the kids to wack each other with!)

The backs of the seats have been covered with thin insulation and fabric to make it more cosy and the sides of the chair with the sparkly PVC
